Bondi Historical Note:

This eastern suburb of Sydney is located 7 kilometers east of the central business district. It is under the local government area of Waverly Council and has a postcode of 2026

The name Bondi is said to be a corruption of an Aboriginal word Boondi meaning *water breaking over rocks* It has been spelt a number of different ways in the past – Bundi, Bundye and Boondi for example. In 1827 it was decided to spell it Bondi. The whole Bondi area was owned by William Roberts in 1809 as part of a 200 acre land grant. Edward Smith Hall – editor of the Sydney Monitor purchased the land for 200 pounds in 1851

The Bondi of today is mostly a medium to high density residential area with a shopping center along Bondi road. Bondi beach is a neighbouring suburb and beach on the east side with Bondi Junction to the west.

hard drive replaced on an old ibook g3

Client had required hard drive replaced on an old ibook g3

Generally unhappy with the old Toshiba laptop - needs advice from computer expert

Checked the Toshiba laptop  - very slow in starting up and also slow in accessing websites.  This is an old computer and the storage is almost full. Discussed with the client what specifically he needs a computer for.  Suggested that he goes to a store and have a physical inspection of the latest laptops -  perhaps a Lenovo, ASUS or a Microsoft Surface Pro.  Considering on his needs as well as his financial resources, he can then have an idea of which computer he may want.  Asked the client to contact us after he has done this.
