The suburb has just one school, a public secondary school – Killara High School. It is surrounded by the suburbs of Gordon, Killara, Lindfield, St Ives, East Lindfield, Davidson, Bellrose and Forestville.

There are no industrial areas here, and homes are large and expensive, this pretty suburb is very green and leafy and attracts a variety of colourful native birds

The client explaiend that they are now on a fiber connection and want the local area network inspected and upgraded to suit. Recommended new switches and new cat6e cabling to all PC's.

Needs a new computer for home office


Provided a Lenovo Slim Factor PC with a Samsung 24" LED display monitor. Full set up of new PC onto network and configuration.

Installed Adobe PhotoShop and Microsoft Digital Imaging, Printmaster 12 and Microsoft Office 2013 for Home and Business.

Installed AVG Cloudcare anti virus.

1. Went onsite

2. Inspected monitor not working

3. Test monitor with laptop (worked)

4. Replaced leads (fail)

5. Open PC

6. Found installed gfx card

7. Put plug in gfx card instead of onboard gfx

8. Remove password on XP account
