Mulgoa Historical Note:

Mulgoa is located 66 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district; it is in the local government area of the City of Penrith and is a part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

The outer rural suburb of Mulgoa covers 5530 hectares and is south of the suburbs of Glenmore Park and Regentville.

Mulgoa has taken its name from the Mulgoa aboriginals who originally lived in this area, they spoke the Dharug language. Mulgoa is believed to mean Black Swan.

In 1810 the first land grants in the area were given to Edward Cox. The first public building in the area was the St Thomas’ Anglican Church, built in 1838. It was built out of sandstone and cedar on paddocks that were donated by the Cox family.  Mulgoa’s first public school was attached to the church, it operated till 1871-1872 when the Mulgoa Provisional School replaced it.

Mulgoa was granted the status of a municipality in 1893

PC not turning on

Clients PC is not turning on when pressing the button and went over all troubleshooting steps which the client was able to successfully get PC to work.

1 hour labour - uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat reader and configured, installed latest flash, java and configured

Remove virus and install free antivirus

1. Went onsite

2. Inspect two machines with virus

3. Update scanner tool on one and install and update scanner tool on second

4. Boot both into safe mode

5. Run scan, remove infected objects

6. Boot into windows, remove current av (MS sec. essentials and CA av)

-Download and install Avast, activate free version, update

7. Reboot machines several times and test (pass)

8. Remove vuze from both machines
