St Marys Historical Note:

St Marys is a suburb in western Sydney located 45 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD. The suburb of St Marys was named after the parish church of St Mary Magdalene, built between 1837 and 1840. It was consecrated by Bishop Broughton in 1840 and is one of the oldest churches in New South Wales that still has regular services. St Marys is one of the few townships in the world to be actually named after a church.

The name St Marys was first used when the St Marys Post Office was opened on 1 October 1840. The Municipality of St Marys was proclaimed on 3 March 1890, and the election of the first council was held in May 1890. St Marys has a long and rich industrial and agricultural history, including tanneries and munitions formerly operated by Australian Defence Industries.

Needed help in installing new Norton Anti Virus

Did a major performance test on the computer.  Ran the existing  Microsoft Essentials.  Uninstalled the old Norton Anti Virus and installed the 2016 version.  Configured the computer to maximise use of the Norton Anti Virus.  Gave instruction to client so a manual run could be made in addition to scheduled runs of the program.

Perform system maintenance

1. Run system clean up

2. Perform Registry repair

3. Run Burn In Test (PASSED)
